Upon registration you will receive a Conference kit that includes the printed material of the Conference and your name badge. Please wear your name badge at all times during the Conference and to all official Conference events.
Climate
The Vienna weather in December is very cold and wintery. Even though you’ll need to wrap up warm, Vienna’s great fun to explore in December.
The weather in Vienna in December produces a daytime high temperature of just 2°C, the low temperature can reach -2°C and it can be even lower at night. The sun sets at 4pm in Vienna for most of the month. The wintery climate produces 50mm of rain, on average, and a little of this will fall as snow and sleet.
Transportation from Airport to Congress Venue

   By public transport:

   Take the train to Wien Mitte and switch to the U3 metro to Johnstraße (1km from the hotel). It takes about 45min.

   By taxi:

   The ride takes approximately 31min (26km).

Transportation from Vienna Central Station to Congress Venue

By public transport:

Take tram 18 to West Bahnhof. From that point many other options can take you closer to the hotel (52, 57A, 60).

Otherwise, take the metro U1 to Stephansplatz, then the U3 to Johnstraße just 1km from the hotel.
Visas
Participants from certain countries may require a visa in order to travel to Austria.
Participants are requested to check with their local Austrian Consulate/Embassy well in advance of their travel date. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa as necessary.
Invitation Letters

Official letters of invitation designed to assist with obtaining an entry visa can be made upon request. In order to receive an invitation letter for visa purposes, send an email to rosemarie@bioevents-congress.com with the following information:
